This is so exciting! I cannot wait to show you what we've done to convert the spare room closet to an office.
To recap, we started off with a checklist of everything that needed to be done. We gutted the closet, finished the walls, plus installed outlets, cabinets, crown molding, desk top, and lighting (under cabinet and overhead). Lastly, the decor!

Ta Da! I'm ready to move in!
Though the rest of the room is not done (hence the baseboards not being finished yet), I'm ready to use the office.

There were many things in the inspiration picture that I wanted for my own office. I liked the cabinetry (I prefer closed storage to reduce visual clutter), the wood desk top, the contrast between the desk top and cabinets, the shelves, the decor, the chair... That's pretty much the whole thing, isn't it?
I'm 100% thrilled with my new office!
Now to get a proper chair...
